A new year, a new writing challenge! No, not another chapter for the novel, nor indeed a new short story. The challenge I'm facing is coming to terms with the new toy Santa brought me: the digital pen.
If the claims are to be believed, my pen and I should be able to enter into a symbiotic relationship, where it recognises every word I write and transfers it on to my computer in my chosen font and format. So I have dreams of writing the magnum opus on the back of an envelope (as and when the Muse visits) no matter where I am. A swift plug into a USB port when I'm logged on to my computer should produce a flawless result.
At the moment, I'm still trying to come to terms with the practicalities of how this will be achieved.
